1st May 2017 - Bank Holiday Monday
1pm - 3pm
This focus of this workshop will be on all four sides of the legs, the front of the thighs (quadriceps), the inner thighs (adductors), the back of the thighs (hamstrings) and the outside of the legs, (IT Band and abductors). This workshop will target the fascial bags within each major muscle groups of the legs. By targeting the fascia through long held stresses, we can help to lengthen the whole myofascial group and improve our range of motion and health of these tissues. The key to this workshop is to relax; keep the muscles soft and work with your breath.
This workshop is different to my other vinyasa workshops and classes because the three key things in yin yoga are;
Playing your edge
Remaining still and;
Holding for time.
You won't break a sweat in this workshop but your legs and hips will feel stretched beyond their normal range and your mind will feel nourished and clear at the same time.
Who is this workshop for?
Everybody but specially athletes of all disciplines, footballers, rugby players, runners, cyclists, dancers, and gym goers.
This workshops is also very beneficial for people who sit or drive alot or for people who are constantly looking after others or constantly trying to organise and arrange everything, if your mind if super busy this is the workshop for you.
