Virabhadrasana 2 - Warrior 2

Who Should Be More Mindful in Warrior II

  • People with serious back pain should take a shorter stance and ensure lenghtening of tailbone and engage the core for more stability

  • People with a knee injury should be mindful of bending the front knee too much. Only take a small knee bend and keep the back leg strong by pressing into outside edge of the foot and keep a mirco bend in the knee of the back leg

  • Shoulder and neck pain - keep hands on your hips and to avoid neck strain, look straight ahead instead of down the front arm.
