Perfect Your Sun Salutations
6 Week Series
This six week series will teach you everything you need to perfect your Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutations.
There are 3 main Sun Salutations: Surya Namaskar A, Surya Namaskar B and Surya Namaskar C.
During the 6 weeks we will break down the elements of each Sun Salutation to enable you to gain a greater understanding and knowledge of each aspect. This will allow you flow more fluidly in your Sun Salutations. We will break down and practice Chatrunga, Urdhva Mukha Svansana (upward facing dog), Uttanasana (standing forward fold), Uktasana (fierce/chair pose) and many more. As well as practicing the flow of the breath and play around with how slowing down the breath and speed it up affects the feel of your flow.
We will also work on elements to advance your Sun Salutations such as learning to jump back into plank or chatrunga safely and jumping forward from Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward facing dog) to uttanasana.
